Guest guest
Bodybuilders inspire me because they have the discipline to stick to a very strict diet. I give in to cravings way too easily.. so I look to the bb's as motivators. I want to be lean and strong! I've been thinking a lot about inspiration and motivation for working out and eating right to stay fit. has posted a few motivational posters on Facebook lately which I really like, and I've begun searching for similar things that I can post in my workout area to inspire me. So anyway I'd just like to throw this out for discussion: Who or what inspires you to keep exercising?
Guest guest
Growing old gracefully is the first thing that comes to mind for me. Also feeling good and staying slim. I hope to still be doing and feeling the exact same ten years from now.**----- Reply message -----To: <exercisevideos >Subject: Who or what inspires you?Date: Mon, Oct 24, 2011 11:58 am I've been thinking a lot about inspiration and motivation for working out and eating right to stay fit. has posted a few motivational posters on Facebook lately which I really like, and I've begun searching for similar things that I can post in my workout area to inspire me.So anyway I'd just like to throw this out for discussion: Who or what inspires you to keep exercising? Guest guest
Hi , I suspect the discipline itself is inspired by being extremely motivated by their goals. You CAN do that too! Guest guest
Hi ,I just feel so much better when I eat right, that I associate those foods with pleasure. I love feeling strong and fit, and that keeps me going too. It boils down to a desire to feel energetic and healthy. If I had to pick an image, I'd pick a trail along the seashore or mountains, or a hill to climb on my bike. I've been thinking a lot about inspiration and motivation for working out and eating right to stay fit. has posted a few motivational posters on Facebook lately which I really like, and I've begun searching for similar things that I can post in my workout area to inspire me. Guest guest
Unfortunately, my mother inspires me negatively... :-( That's NOT how I want to be at her age. She's not taken care of herself and is frail, and has very limited use of her arms. (Refused to do PT after shoulder surgery.) For positive inspiration, a good example is my father-in-law. He recently rode his bike 80 miles for his 80th birthday. He's still working in his profession, and only recently lost at tennis to my late-teen son. He's had a number of injuries and a mild stroke, so life isn't peachy-keen -- but he keeps going!! Guest guest
Actually, negative inspiration isn't necessarily a bad thing. When I look at the average American male my age (I'm 42) and when I look at the other men in my profession (I'm a pastor), I see what I don't want to become, and it makes me want to stay fit too! > > > > > > >
