Guest guest
- thanks, hon. They put in an IV late Tuesday, have been giving her fluids around the clock, & Crystal is now more hydrated. They're supposed to be putting in an NG tube today. They're going to be doing an MRI in about 45 minutes from now. She's going to be sedated. They want to keep her in the hospital until at least Monday. They want to see how the NG tube works out, & monitor the effect of her new seizure med Gabatril. She's been on this since Wednesday night. Yesterday she was alot better then the day before. She still had at least 4 tonic seizures & quite a few complex-partials. However, she was with it at least 1/2 of the day. The day before, she was out of it almost the whole day. She's been following this pattern of good day - bad day for awhile. I'm not sure if it's that pattern, or the new med, that made yesterday a better day for her. I guess we're going to have to wait & see what happens next. Monday, the Feeding team wants to run tests on her for swallowing & such. So, we're here at Dupont at least until Monday. I'm waiting to hear from the Neuro-surgeon, as to when he'll be implanting the VNS. I'm hoping he'll do it early next week, so we don't have to have another hospital stay... That's it for now... Give your beautiful great big {{{ HUGS & KISSES }}} for us... Lots of love to everyone & their Angels... & her sleeping Princess, Crystal Aquielle...
