Sad news about our dairy farm family (from Schlangen Family Farm)

I have some very sad news about our dairy farm family, now that the shock has

given way to the reality of a very much changed family situation. Our source of

fresh milk is the Molitor Organic Farm near St Cloud MN . Joe and Shirley were

happy to be part of a gathering in January that would allow them to better

connect with their consumer families around the metro. You may recall the invite

to the Saturday (1/23) evening event at the TFMN Warehouse.

Shirley was driving their two youngest girls to school and was

struck by another vehicle while entering the busy highway near their farm. She

was killed instantly. The children ( and Maggie) were not seriously

injured in the crash. The wake service was one of the largest ever in the

Richmond area (my home town). Obituary is attached. Please know that the family

is aware of all of those that respect and appreciate their situation. Responses

have been overwhelming, almost too much at once. Thanks for caring, Alvin
