I'm in SA, but I'm still not sure about my doc. I just had a

thyroidectomy in November, and he has me on Synthroid. Still waiting

to see if I like him or not. His name is Dr. Harry Uy, and his

office is McCullough. I can't remember the name of the practice at

the moment, but Dr. Becker is in the same office. Any other members

have experience at this office?

My godmother had parathyroid surgery with Dr. Uy. She seems

pleased with the results, but does not seem to know much about her own

condition. My preference is a doctor that almost over explains

everything.

I have an endocrinologist here in San who just became my

secondary physician-- he is good with standard cases, but does not

regularly prescribe Armour as a habit. I am currently seeing

in Lubbock, who is my primary doctor.

Best--

Courtenay.

The list is in two parts. The first part of the list is docs who Rx Armour. The second part of the list is docs who Rx synthetic T3. There are a total of three docs between the two parts of the list.

We do not have a lot of enthusiastic endorsements for SA docs. Some folks do like the docs listed here. If you are unable to get the help you need in SA, you may want to consider travelling to Austin or Lubbock or possibly Corpus. minx wrote:
