Guest guest Posted August 25, 2003 Report Share Posted August 25, 2003 Hi all! I'm sitting here pondering this and sure hope that someone out there has been through this also. This summer, we took the kids to Gulf Shores and my oldest, Chaia, had an awful first day there. She was extremely hyper, started licking everything and everyone that was around her, and could not calm herself down at all. This was totally atypical behavior for her. We thought at the time that she had reacted to the dye in the vitamins that we had just begun. Today, we went to the water park in Philadelphia, MS. She had a very similar reaction and she isn't on any vitamins. Can chlorine cause this type of reaction? I can't pinpoint any obvious changes in diet, other than a little more sugar than usual today. I gave her some dye free benadryl to help her calm down when we got home. She's been going strong for over 13 hours now. Somebody PLEASE help me figure this one out.......
