Guest guest
I only found the link between thyroid and mental health after reading Prof Harry s book on Schizophrenia, 12 months later I came down with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis - it really knocked me down. I had been working with nfb for some years and enjoyed the calming and energising effects. When I go sick I had to use it to get energy and to stay sane, but the effects only lasted days and so I wondered what the heck was wrong with me, I never get sick. I went back to my readings and rediscovered Prof s book, deduced the connection between anxiety, depression and adrenochrome and thyroid. I began to then explore symptoms of thyroid disease and presto, the connection was clear. Like others have commented on this and other lists no doctor knew anything about the thyroid, much less how to diagnose and treat it. So I went my own way and bought my own dessicated thyroid. I have not looked back. Without nfb and thyroid hormone I would have been unable to work, thyroiditis as Jeff said, is not good. I now preach " thyroid " to all my patients ;-) pacman
