Guest guest
thank you for your responses and words of encouragement, most of all thank you for letting me have my little vent session. I have come to realize that I should put my pride aside and my attitude that I can deal with this alone,,,I have called the pastor at my church and spilled my heart out, he and his wife are coming over in the new year to help us out and pray as well.. I decided a fake smile and the answer " oh we're fine " isnt helping matters, instead I am now answering honsestly,, I say now to the question how are you..my answer is..you know what..a little down and alone,,lets do coffee. Its nice to be a part of a group here,,but do you think any of you might move to canada? ha ha ha Again ..thank you! Angie
Guest guest
Hi Angie, Things are not always as they seem up here! We may have more subsidies on medications, and a health system available to all (does not include psychologists, social workers, etc) , but there is still the lack of trained professionals, waiting lists and of course there's the big freeze! brrrrr Support groups, whether via internet or in person, should be productive and goal oriented to avoid people complaining and doing nothing about it! If you think there is a need in your area, try advertising and see what happens. Good luck and take are, wendy, in Canada Its nice to be a part of a group here,,but do you think any of you might move to canada? ha ha ha Again ..thank you!
