Guest guest
Hi , Medical doctors are not used to the low cholesterol readings found in macrobiotic people. Before macrobiotics, 13 years ago I had cholesterol readings of 290 and 310. Within a week of stopping meat and dairy, my cholesterol dropped to its now consistently low level. I have learned also that a reading of 120 cholesterol is just about what the body makes on its own. Anything higher and you have added it to your diet with food. Apparently, I haven't needed the extra cholesterol from fatty foods. My best and thanks to Simon for giving you that contact!
