Who knows, maybe just a slight increase could help your son too? **** Let me chime in here and say that my daughter had her Lexapro increased by 5 mg this summer and began to have behavioral side effects (much more impulsive and hyper). When we took it back down to the previous 25 mg she got very, very depressed again. So I increased it by 2.5 mg (a quarter tablet) and she is fine. She now takes 2 3/4 tablets a day - that miniscule quarter tablet makes all the difference for her. (I spend about an hour every Sunday chopping Risperdal and Lexapro into halves and quarters for the week). So don't be afraid to try tiny little increases or decreases - some kids are very very sensitive to meds. in NV
