I don't understand that because, before I had mine done with HealthCheck, I

called them to get a full picture on the antibodies. They told me that it

was $60 flat for both because when they run one, they automatically reflex

to the other one. Those were almost their exact words. In other words,

they run both of them no matter what. Of course, I did run both of them,

and they were both in the thousands. I would not go without running both of

them at the same time. It's been 7 months since I did this, and I think I

will run them again in a couple of months.

I don't understand that because, before I had mine done with HealthCheck, I

called them to get a full picture on the antibodies. They told me that it

was $60 flat for both because when they run one, they automatically reflex

to the other one. Those were almost their exact words. In other words,

they run both of them no matter what. Of course, I did run both of them,

and they were both in the thousands. I would not go without running both of

them at the same time. It's been 7 months since I did this, and I think I

will run them again in a couple of months.

Yep, I'd sure call and ask them. That's been 7 months ago for me, maybe

they've changed their procedure on those particular tests. Really, I didn't

think to ask why they would reflex to the other one because one of those

antibodies isn't necessarily dependent on what the other one is doing. A

high ANA titer can reflex to another antibody test, but that really has

nothing to do with these two thyroid antibodies, I don't think. Apples and

oranges.
