Guest guest
Dear -- No, I haven't. What would that show? Why don't doctors mention these things? Courtenay. Have you had an insulin test, to measure how much insulin is being poured out into your blood stream?
Guest guest
Hi, Courtenay, Have you had an A1C test? Unlike the fasting blood glucose test which measures your glucose level at the time of the blood test, it shows the average blood glucose levels for the past 2-3 months by measuring the amount of blood sugar attached to hemoglobin molecules. There's also something called the glucose challenge test. I don't know if this will help -- it's something I learned from a co-worker who's husband was having problems. So maybe you can ask one of your docs. Who knows why they drag their feet? Hang in there, -k-? > Dear All-- > > One of my issues for the last ten years has been blood sugar > problems, and the symptoms are pretty extreme.
