Guest guest
Thanks again for the thorough review! Ima gonna steal some of these routines for Studio LouLou once and Noel and done with me! Today was RKS workout 4 which consists of the following: DOUG Challenge Workout 10 minutes in length5x Row right hand5x Row Left Hand10x Squat thrust w/jump15x Pushups on toes or knees20x two-handed swingsNO Rest...repeat as many times as you can with good form for 10 minutes. This workout is meant to see how you've progressed over the weeks. I made it thru 3 full rounds and then I made it through 5 kettle bell swings into round 4 of this today. I used a 20 lb kb for the rows and the swings. This was a toughie but I liked it. Man, what a good workout for only 10 minutes (well, not including warm up and cool down). This is really a good one, even though I totally hate squat thrusts, they do work u good. My knees are so much better now that I am not doing the high impact stuff anymore. I did the jumps on these, but at least its not the constant barrage every day. I am so happy I got this system, I am only on workout 4 but am so loving it. Have a great day all. in CA

Guest guest
Stop calling yourself an old lady b/c as I recall you are not much older than me and I am not old! A good way that I modify backbends is to use a stability ball and I back bend over that! It does give a very good stretch to the front of the body which tends to be inflexible due to our forward leaning posture from daily modern life (computer use, desk wok, driving) Enjoy the rest of your vacation!!! Donna To: sarahsfamilyrecipes Sent: Thu, July 14, 2011 1:48:50 PMSubject: 's Thursday workout Hi all, I'm still just here enjoying my vacation. This morning I did RKS workout 4. Afterwards I did a yoga called upper body yoga for beginners with Rodney Yee. I liked it except for the back bend portion. You get on the floor and put your feet next to your butt and put your hands backwards near your ears and push yourself up into a backbend. I am an old lady who is stiff as a board and my body don't wanna do that. I got to the top of my head once and that was about it. That move did not seem beginner to me, but I guess if you are 20 and beginning it would be different. I did like this one though. I kinda surprised myself on one move, I don't know what it's called, you lay on your stomach and grab your feet and put your head forward and pull yourself up into a half circle. I actually did it, I was shocked. This DVD was more challenging than the last Rodney Yee one I did, but that one was much more relaxation focused and this one was more work focused. Now I am off to do some housework and then to watch TV for a little while.

Guest guest
That's a great idea Donna, I think I will put a note about the stability ball inside this DVD so I will remember to have it handy next time I do this one. Thanks. Guest guest
That is a really tough move, I don't consider it beginner at all! And I agree with Donna, let's not get into calling ourselves old ladies in our 40s! Eeek! ;-) 's Thursday workout Hi all, I'm still just here enjoying my vacation. This morning I did RKS workout 4. Guest guest
Yes, it has 6 circuits in it. Some are easier than others. You can also do it in pieces as I recall, I can't remember if it is chaptered or what but in my notes I have something about being easily able to do just one or a few sections of it. Re: 's Thursday workout ooo, this sounds good sarah! im kind of scared of jillian but i will think about doing this one sometime soon. i hope you have a good day too! so far mine is great! im off to see about getting a haircut....:*carolyn.> This morning I did Jillian's Banish fat boost metabolism. Guest guest
Ugh, , that stinks! I hope ExTv replaces them quickly for you and you can get back the rotation! Sara > > > Good morning all, > > My workout didn't go quite as planned today. I did 10 lb. slimdown extreme yoga. I really liked the portion that I was able to do, but then the disk started skipping and freezing. It is supposed to be a 40 minute workout, I got about 25 or 30 minutes in before the freezing started. It was bad freezing so I wasn't able to continue on, I fast forwarded a bit but it continued. I emailed exercise tv and told them about the problem so I am waiting to hear back from them, there was some mild freezing on the other workouts, but not so bad that you couldn't do them. On the parts that I was able to do, I really liked this yoga workout. I can really feel the fact that I haven't done any yoga for awhile, well, except for Jillians evil yoga which I didn't care all that much for. I love this set so much and I sure hope exercise tv is able to help me out with a replacement. Have a great day all. > > >
Guest guest
Hi all, this morning I did Dozois Pick Your Level Fat to Firm fast. This one was okay. I wish the cardio sections had been a little longer, they were even to easy for me which is pretty easy. this one has 3 levels to choose from, I mostly did level 3, but on one portion where she was doing the jumping scissor lunges, I did level 2 as I didn't want to do those. This one would be good for an easy day. I think this was maybe 40 minutes total but I didn't time it. The warm up and cool down sections are good. Have a great day all.
