Guest guest
I noticed some interesting patterns. I start to really get tired about mid-way through the workout. I missed about 10 seconds off of the 3rd out of six running sessions tonight. By #6, I could have done a 7th and 8th, too. I was getting side stitches when I ran. I noticed, though, if I tightened my whole core, the stitch went away. I googled on information in side stitches, and there's really not much out there! The most they came up with is that the liver may be pressing on the diaphragm, and exhaling on the left foot-fall may help. (Not if my breathing isn't all that controlled!) But when I tightened all my stomach muscles, it went away. My calves are hurting in a " new " spot -- up high near the back of the knee. My ankles are protesting this abuse. I think that's all muscular, but I'm keeping an eye on it. I'm debating on whether to start on Week 3, or stay on Week 2 a while longer yet. Also, if I extend the recovery time to two days instead of one, it seems to work better for me! -- Maybe we old farts need more recoup time? Indyrose already showered and ready for sleep!
