Have you

tried the recipe in Sweet and Natural? It's yummy too.

Never thought of making my own chestnut flour. Sounds like you need

a very special blender. Yikes!

no - dont try it in your blender! I have a thermomix which is amazing -

it grinds things even y SAMAP flour mill does not - like whole corn (we

only have the organic pop corn here) and chestnuts

plus does a whole bunch of other stuff - like kneads the bread for you

(I have seen bread kneaders for over 1500 dollars) makes soup etc

www.thermomix.com.au

I did a cooking claas organic/veg with it and there are some organic

wholefood people in the limelight who are also promoting them now as a

good way to get families cooking and making things from scratch - there

is a whole section on that in the accompanying cookbook - from 2-3

minute (attended) cakes, breads, jams, ice creams, sorbets etc
