Guest guest
Hi Guys~~ Just added Eurythromiacin to our reigment today, along with Valtrex. I guess this is supposed to work towards the strep virus problem. I've heard a few of you mention better language, etc. Anything else I should look for? All the best~~ Rose _______________________________ ```````````````````````````````` Responsibility for the content of this message lies strictly with the original author, and is not necessarily endorsed by or the opinion of the Research Institute. ---------------------------------------
Guest guest
Do you mean erythromycin? Less ocd symptoms might occur. Guest guest
Rose, My son's focus improved greatly within a few days... he was so much less spacey. His teacher called me in the middle of the day from school (that was a first) to tell me that she was just amazed... he was back to normal. He had been so out of it that I had actually pulled him out of school prior to starting the antibiotics... totally spacey and just a wreck. By the way, NEVER forget to give your child food with the erythromycin if you are giving the kind that says to... we missed that once at first (my dh didn't realize it was supposed to be with food) and it really messed up his stomach... we had to put him on a bland diet for about two weeks to get him feeling well again, and ended up having to switch him to a different form of the med. Guest guest
My son did not really get much improvement with the erythromycin, and his aso titers confirm that. Dr. G is considerting switching him to a stronger antibiotic. Guest guest
Does anyone know what the incubation period for strep is? I just found out my cousin who babysits once in a while has it and she watched him last week, of course kissing all over him the entire time. I'd like to know how long I should be worried for.......... And should I get him tested even if he doesn't get obviously ill??
