Hi Everyone,

Today I did another workout from Body Gospel - it was a strength/cardio circuit that used the bands. Again, I was surprised by the intensity. It isn't 10 Slim Down Extreme intense, but it was more intense than I thought it would be - pleasantly surprised - one of those that works you out w/out wiping you out workouts. Donna also included a nice set of push-ups, planks and mountain climbers at the end. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about doing the whole workout w/ the bands - I was a bit worried about cardio moves with them - feared I'd trip myself up - but it worked fine. The cardio is also not dancey - definately simpler combos. And, Donna always has a modifier (usually Kat - who is the modifier in Huckabee's Punch workout and others...) That said, this one can be easily modified to do w/out bands. You can just use dumbells for the strength sections. If you were inclined to do so, you can also wear weighted gloves thoughout the workout to

get some added resistance during the cardio segments and then pick up dumbells to add to your glove weight for the strength sections. I stretched out w/ the stretch workout from this series. I was going to add on yoga but ran out of time. Does anyone have Debbie Siebers' Total Body Solution? There was an advertisement for it (and Shakeology, of course!) on my disc. Thinking this may be a nice one for me - I have neck, upper back and lower back issues! (I'm a mess!) My knees and feet seem ok, though! So, gotta take the good w/ the bad!Take care!Donna
