> We saw Dr. Pakula at the Marcus institute and were not happy at all.

WE HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE WITH HER, WE FELT LIKE WE WERE GIVEN VERY LITTLE DIRECTION, AND NO ANSWERS. BTW, I JUST JOINED THS GROUP, I AM THE MOM OF A 12 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WITH HIGH-FUNCTIONING AUTISM / ASPERGER'S. I AM AM ALSO LOOKING FOR A DR, IT HAS BEEN QUITE A WHILE SINCE SHE HAS SEEN ONE. SHE HAS BEEN GETTING SERVICES THROUGH THE PUBLIC SCHOOL BUT WE ARE HESITANT ABOUT MIDDLE SCHOOL NEXT YEAR AND WE WILL PROBABLY HOMESCHOOL HER. IS THERE ANYONE ELSE ON THIS LIST WHO HOMESCHOOLS, AND DO YOU KNOW OF ANY TYPE OF SPECIALIST THAT CAN HELP WITH DEVELOPING AN EDUCATIONAL PLAN? THANKS IN ADVANCE, MARY

Re: Re: doctors/ INTRO

Instead of reading a book, why doesn't the adult with Asperger's join

our support group. Check it out at http://www.asaga.com Or email me.
