Guest guest
Jane, , and - thank you for the welcome and for sharing part of your children's stories with me. I love hearing about your precious little ones. , you stated that your son just got his cast - how is he doing now? Has he adjusted okay? I have been thinking about him. I have another question - we have several children at home, three with special needs, and we homeschool. We're toying with the idea of flying my mother-in-law out to help during that week after Simon's casting. How difficult is the first week? I'm thinking that not only will Simon be adjusting to the cast, but the rest of us will too! : ) Also, if my MIL comes, then my husband and I will both be able to be with Simon at the hospital. Or is the transition easier/smoother than I'm imagining, and life will settle down to the new " normal " pretty quickly? We're used to doing things on our own - just not sure what to plan for. Thanks! Patrice

Simon's back is getting worse and my husband and I are both anxious to begin - Patrice Hopkins wrote: > > > Patrice, > I'm , s significant other and mother of , age 20 > months and received his first cast this last tues.
