I'm so glad your going to stay , there would really be a void in my

heart not to hear from you. It's amazing how close I feel to many people on

this list, I never thought something like that would be possible. <hugs>

Still thinking of you everyday, you get some rest.

Dear friends

I just want to send a huge thank you to all of you who have supported us, not

only recently when Hannah died, but in all the time I have been a member here. I

have never known a bunch of parents like you all, sharing such love, empathy,

advice and concern, and looking out for each other the way you do. I am blessed

for being a part of this, and so pleased that I have made so many friends.

Since Hannah's death 11 days ago, I have felt more happy than sad, more joy than

distress, and more smiles than tears. There are some very low moments of course,

but there is an overriding peace with which we have each been blessed. It is

well with us that Hannah has gone to heaven.

Gavan was amazed at how many messages I have printed (to keep) in the last few

days, and is just beginning to realise the extensive network of support that I

have been able to tap into. He was asking me from what countries you all come,

and I was only able to name a few. It would be so nice to be able to tell him,

as he has a real sense that Hannah, along with many other children, has brought

the world together. Could some of you let me know where you are from? We know

that there are some from the USA, the UK, NZ, and Sweden, but my memory lets me

down at that point.

I will be staying on here for some time I imagine, as there are too many people

with whom I want to stay in touch, and too many things happening in your lives

that I want to keep up with. I have grown to love your children across the miles

and want to keep up with their progress.

hugs

I am so glad you have decided to stay for awhile. I have always gotten

great incouragement from all you have to say. I am glad you are at

peace and have been able to find joy in Hannahs passing. I only hope that

if I am in that position I too will do so well.

Hi,

I live in germany near Munich, but I am from the netherlands. I lived my

whole life somewere in Europe and we are now planning to move near

Cologne in Germany because we hope to find a school there that will take

our son Timon ( 5.5 years PMG). I want him to go to a normal school

together with his little brother ( who is actually the big one now!) and

later on with my little daughter. I feel that Timon can only get support

from " normal " kids and prepare him for his future. Well that from were I

am form.

You to have a nice weekend, well sunday,

Bianca

Hi ,

My name is (Daire's Mum), we live in Ireland. I found this site after much

searching for information from the Medical Profession and from the internet. I

have also found a lot of support from you all, as my son Daire is only a few

weeks from diagnosis, he's now nearly 5 months old, so we are still trying to

get a handle on what it will mean for us all.

I haven't been able to check my mail for a while and so I was very sad on

reading your mail. I would like to take this opportunity to say, how sad I was

to hear that Hannah is no longer with you. I feel our Children are indeed

Special, they are sent to teach us, patience kindness and most of all how to

Love, as they give their Love unconditionally. I know that Daire in his short

time on earth has changed our lives for the better.

showed where all our loopmates are from. It truly is one of the

blessings of the technology age to be able to meet and learn from

people all over the world. I remember one time on a G-tube list I

belonged to that a mom in South Africa was struggling with the

feeding tube coming disconnected from the PEG tube. I got my husband

to download an image of the paper-clip gizmo that he had invented to

solve this problem, as we were stuggling with 's PEG too. She

later told me that the clinic where her son was treated now makes

these paperclip connectors for other clients. My husband found it

very touching, and entertaining, that his " invention " is now in
