Pirsig

I happened to stop by here (I've been exploring my own " aspie-ness "

for a while and I've been posting over at Aspergia Island as " dancho " )

and I've noticed that everyone had a bit of row over " science vs.

religion. " I'm a big, big fan of Pirsig. He wrote " Zen and

the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance " and " Lila " and he's a flat-out

genius. He also displays some " aspie like " qualities.

If anyone wishes (for whatever reason) to explore the universe of

" reason " and question whether " mind " or " matter " (or " quality " ) is

paramount, I recommend those two books very highly and maybe a trip to

http://www.moq.org to read some of what the folks there have to say.
