Guest guest
At a visit a month ago with reknown HIV/AIDS specialist and researcher, Dr. Abrams of UCSF Medical Center and the SF Clinic Consortium, I had complained about persistent tiredness that my increasing my androgel did not seem to help. He suggested I try CordyChi® Capsules, a mushroom blend in capsule form that combines Cordyceps (Cordyceps sinensis) and Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum). The www.fungi.com website 'claims' this as a powerful energizing tonic for cardiovascular and immune system health*. Available in bottles of 60 ($25) and 120 ($40) 500mg capsules. I have found it quite helpful, though it could be a placebo effect and I don't 'crash' as frequently in mid-afternoons as I had previously.... Healthfully & electronically yours, " Gravy Boat " Goldman yangzpa@... " Be present in your life and appreciate each moment because you aren't guaranteed a tomorrow; be passionate about what you do; don't live in fear; and, connect with one another. The power of love is even more relevant today. " Larson, sister of Larson, author of " Rent. "
Guest guest
Has anyone else on this site tried this mushroom mix? Could it be similar to the energy boost one experiences from taking " royal jelly " (bee pollen?) or having an energy drink? More importantly, what else are you guys/ladies taking for energy besides maybe testosterone etc>? thanks, harrison PozHealth , Goldman <yangzpa@s...> wrote: > > At a visit a month ago with reknown HIV/AIDS specialist and > researcher, Dr. Abrams of UCSF Medical Center and the SF > Clinic Consortium, I had complained about persistent tiredness that > my increasing my androgel did not seem to help. Guest guest
Royal jelly is not the same as the other herbs mentioned. Bee propolis may have some value against HIV--I think there's a study going on in Africa. Reishi I'm not so sure is such a great idea. Chinese medicine practitioners I've talked to think it's not indicated and at least one friend I know had a small drop in CD4 cells when he went on it. I think the Cordyceps is probably OK---kinda interesting but I haven't looked into it lately. For energy, I think the best stuff is " Siberian ginseng " which is not ginseng at all--it's Eleutherococcus senticosus. Nice stuff. Known now as Eleuthero. Also, think about doing extra B12. Won't hurt, might help--B12 deficiency can sometimes be the problem and can be checked. More later, M. At 02:14 PM 12/26/2005, you wrote: >Has anyone else on this site tried this mushroom mix?
