Guest guest Posted April 21, 2001 Report Share Posted April 21, 2001 Ursula, According to the American Medical Association, at the age of 4-6 years old the child should have the following immunizations: DTaP or DTP, polio, and MMR. The MMR would be the second one (first one given around age 12-15 months). So, if Macey has not had these, perhaps, she is in need of her 5 year vaccines. Again, I would ask if she has not had them. MMR is a live vaccine and you should see what Dr. Myers thinks. I would address it either way.
