's Saturday workout

thanks sarah for review.. i have been eyeing this one as it has my 2 favs. kickboxing and kettlebells.. but i don't have double bells .. To: Sent: Saturday, August 27, 2011 12:16 PMSubject: 's Saturday workout

Good morning all, I hope all are doing well today with the impending storms on the east coast. Today I did Amy Bento KB Squared. This was my first time doing it and I got a little lost in some of the kickboxing combos, I think they will be awesome after a few more times thru them. The double kettlebell portions were awesome, this is my first time using the double bells, it was really hard for me, I used 20 lbers. There was a part were you hold them above your head for awhile and then step back into a partial back lunge, I stepped back, but there was no lunging, I was afraid I was going to tip over, they were really heavy for me. In the first part, there is a part where you do a middle turkish get up with one bell, I had to pause and go get a 10 lb. bell for this, I can't do this with a 20 lb. I really liked this workout, but it will take me a few more

times thru and then I think I will totally love it. After that I did Rodney Yee AM Yoga for your week, the twists segment. Later tonite after it cools down a skosh, I may try to get a walking workout in.

Are you going to do this dvd for 30 days?  I think and/or Donna did a rotation wtih this one!

 

Good morning all,

 

I just finished up Jillian's 30 day shred level 1.   I am doing a Jillian rotation as part of a sparkpeople group challenge.  I had never done this one before,  I liked it  a lot,  I used 7 lb. dumbbells.  I am off now to take my daughter to do some shopping.  The gas price is up a lot today,  I am wondering if it is because of the 3 day weekend.  I need to put some, but I may wait till Monday to see if it comes down a little.  Have a great day all.

Hi all, today I did Jillian s 30 day shred workouts levels 2 and 3. I had to take a break in between the 2 workouts this time, it is very hot and humid here today. We don't usually get humidity here and it really sucks. I am off to watch all the Days of Our Lives shows that I tivoed this week, I haven't had much time to watch TV at all this week.
