PHH Arm Toner

It feels like forever since I last worked out but it is probably 2 weeks ago, I'm not sure though. I was sooooo tired today (am still) but forced myself to do Power Half Hour Arm Toner because I could see my arms getting less toned with even a little break and it was bothering me. I've been getting lots of compliments on my arms this summer and don't want to disappoint anyone! :-) (My WW members do look to me as a role model and if I start looking flabby instead of fit that won't be good and since my arms are still visible I want to make sure they look good right now!) Anyway, that's my long-winded excuse for not doing cardio, lower body or even circuit, which I also need but didn't feel like doing! :-)

I've always liked this workout and the other PHH workouts but haven't done any of them in a while, especially this one. I had forgotten how Tony does the exercises and especially Tony's own names for them so I had to keep pausing the DVD to watch a rep to remember what to do, not a big deal though. I also couldn't remember what weights I'd used last time and couldn't find a worksheet for this but as I entered it into my workout log I see I did use about the same weights as last time (over 2 years ago if that date is correct!). I mostly used 8s & 7s but started with 10s and 12s though I think I could go to 8s for more and probably more with 10s too. I got through about 2/3 of the pushups on toes but didn't do the decline pushups with toes on the chair (did those on the floor). I also had a harder time with triceps dips than I usually do (usually I go straight-legged but today I had to modify midway through each set). It felt good to do it all though. I'm not sure what tomorrow's workout will be, it is kind of strangely scheduled day so possibly another PHH workout because they're short. I think the next few weeks will be hard to get workouts in because we'll have to start getting ready for school (it starts the Tuesday after Labor Day here) but I'll do what I can do, even if they're short.
