Guest guest Posted September 7, 2011 Report Share Posted September 7, 2011 hi michelle!! im like that with steps too if im close to my daily goal then i will try to fit in 20 mins of walking or something else fast to hit that 10,000. you're not obsessed... you are doing a good thing! i saw your fitbit report a while ago and wanted to say that you are doing awesome at reaching, and surpassing, your daily goal!! i had over 11000 steps today and on tuesday i got over 15000 ! a new record for me. i record my steps in an online log called 'walker tracker'... it shows the high score walkers for each day. some people are doing over 35000 steps in a day and one person posted 50000! is that for real? if so, how the heck do they do that? :*carolyn. That's crazy. How are they doing that? I mean I have to really work just to get 10,000. When I do a long cardio with lots of jumping I can look down at my fitbit at the end of the workout and be at 7,000 just from that one workout. Most days it isn't like that at all. They would have to moving (running) all day long, I would think. That's really over doing the body, IMO. I wonder how many calories they burn with that? Yesterday, mine said 2100 for 10,400 steps. I use to own 2 treadmills and sold them because they were so darn boring, but yesterday I was thinking I wish I had one just to hop on for a few minutes to get those numbers. Guest guest Posted September 9, 2011 Report Share Posted September 9, 2011 I got off track with getting in my 10,000 steps and right now I'm only getting about 1.25 miles or 3,000 some steps a day. I need to start walking again! When I walked twice a day for 45 minutes I was able to get in my steps. JenSubject: Wednesday Workout #2To: Cathe_Friedrich_Fans , exercisevideos , fitandthatsit Date: Wednesday, September 7, 2011, 6:02 PM Well, lately I've been really obsessed with getting my 10,000 steps in. Today, with doing Power Hour I didn't get those cardio steps that get me off to a few thousand steps for the day. I walked the dogs for 30 minutes this morning and everything I did around here today still didn't get me there, so I did a tiny bit of cardio before my yoga tonight. I know, really obsessed lol. I made this a Firm evening and pulled out a DVD that's I've yet to do any workouts off of. I did Pump, Jump & Jab with Kelsie s. I only did the warm up and KB 1. Then I put in The Firm Power Yoga. I got my 10,000 steps in. YAY! lol Now, I feel like I've been hit by a couple trucks. I'm tiiiiiiiired.
