We are having our first rain here, it is pouring outside, the dogs would not go out to go potty. I did 10 lb. slimdown extreme lower body workout. I shouldn't actually say I did it, more like I did parts of it. This one is killer hard and I so cheated my way through it. Maybe another day I will be more into it. After that, I did the bonus abs workout. I was quite happy to see a lot of pilates moves in this one, I liked this one a lot. I don't dislike the lower body one, it was just too hard for me today and I didn't even feel like working out to begin with. The kettlebell swings with a dumbbell feel weird to me, I prefer to use a kb, but didn't feel like going and getting it, way different with a dumbbell, for me anyways. I hate elevated lunges as well, I know they work good as I can feel them, but I hate them. I am off to shower and go to work and get my butt chewing for calling in sick for two days, I am glad I did though, it was nice to have the days. They usually leave the workouts up for a long time - even if they "expire" they re-issue them (w/ a different commercial on the front and back ends) so you can probably count on these being around for awhile. 10 lb slimdown was up this summer and still is there now. In a way, I felt foolish spending the $$ on the discs knowing I had them on ExerciseTV, but I also am happy to have them so I can use them whenever I want. Guest guest Posted October 5, 2011 Report Share Posted October 5, 2011  I'm happy too! The only problem is the TV in my workout room doesn't have access to it. I can workout in the big part of the basement with the big TV that does have U-verse on it, I just haven't yet. I hate having people around when I workout, I'm afraid DH will come downstairs while I'm doing something and distract me as he's getting ready to leave for work. He won't laugh at me (well, he might but it wouldn't be meant in a mean way) but I'll just feel so much on display. I should try it soon anyway. I'm still watching this workout. It looks really tough. I was just going to ask what size weights she's holding and she just said she's holding 8s (how funny that the timing was perfect). They look huge for some reason but 8s aren't exactly light doing something like this. Now she's doing those darn explosive (jumping) lunges. She has got practically every evil thing in there she could find (I just haven't seen mountain climbers yet). Those jumping jacks with hand weights looks crazy. I like the countdown clock. I hate to say, I'm watching this thinking how difficult it looks and getting excited about trying it!! Talk about crazy! I think I will soon... though I'm glad to know they keep them around a long time and even bring them back.
