Guest guest
Today the rotation called for a strength circuit followed by 25 min of cardio intervals. After much screwing around and changing my mind I ended up choosing Coffey-Meyer's 30 Minute to Fitness: Weights. I chose the 30 min timesaver full body workout. I did this workout a few weeks ago, I think. It fit the bill for today, even it was 8 reps per exercise instead of the 12 suggested for the rotation. Close enough. I did cardio next, and I set up a workout on my iPod with an app called Run Companion that lets you choose time intervals and assign different playlists to them. I have a lot of music set up in playlists by bpm, so I chose my 120-130 bpm playlist for walks and my 130-140 bpm playlist for jogs. I warmed up for 3 minutes, then did 25 minutes alternating 1 minute of jogging with 1 minute of walking. I was surprised to see I didn't max out my heart rate even once! ;-) I was going pretty slow, though, heh. I cooled down for 2 minutes, did some quick stretches and called it done.
