Guest guest
Actually I *would* like to look like them, , but the diet is pretty strict, which is what I really struggle with. In addition, I love running and that's not recommended if this is the look you are going for because too much cardio can eat at your muscles. I'm getting better at it though, and would like to try hitting stage at least once in my lifetime! Had my first raw eggwhite protein shake a few weeks ago, which made me feel a bit hardcore lol, " BB Wannabe " Noel IS awesome! Got tired of them and haven't made any in a long time. I had a feeling you wanted to look somewhere about like that. ) I think its cool and its amazing how we can make our bodies look like that. Well, maybe not all of us, but its neat to see others be able to do it. I'm sure cardio is just about non existent and you mostly focus and lifting and your diet. Do they drink a lot of water? Its all so interesting to me. It would be something to see you be able to get close to what these people look like. I could see you doing it, I really could. )) ~

Guest guest
THANK YOU FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT, MICHELLE! I would probably go for Figure, which has more of the V shape where as Bodybuilding you pose more in an X shape and are generally bigger. Bikini is too skinny for me (personally) so Figure is a happy medium for me (Like Zori on Noel's page). Yeah, they don't do cardio for very long or very intensely and I have 2 half marathons coming up. After that I may reduce my cardio and work harder at the diet to get the definition I want to see. I'm very strong and have a lot of muscle right not but it's all hidden under FAT - letting go of pizza and alcohol will be tough for me! Yeah, eggwhites are SUCH a great protein source with low calories and carbs! You look GREAT . May I ask what you eat on a typical weekday? I'm getting better at it though, and would like to try hitting stage at least once in my lifetime! Guest guest
You look GREAT . May I ask what you eat on a typical weekday? Thank you , but most people would starve to death on my diet lol. I do pig out on the weekends. We eat out both Saturday and Sunday (sometimes even Friday) and I let myself go and eat whatever I want and how much I want. We eat at Mcdonalds, a couple of buffets, a couple iced mochas, anything candy lol. Come Monday morning I'm back on track again. One thing I do is I don't eat ANYTHING after we eat supper including the weekends, which is at around 3:30 pm. I also drink about 72 oz of water a day. I don't drink much water on the weekend though. During the week I eat a good breakfast (oatmeal with egg whites, all bran or Kashi cereal with lots of fruit). Lunch, I have a huge plate full of raw veggies (peppers, tomatoes, zucchini, and purple cauliflower) along with a half of a English muffin or wasa cracker with a 1/2 tbs. of olive oil. I'll also have some Hormel turkey (3 slices, no bread). For supper I eat pretty light. I have either chicken breast with sweet potato and a salad with low fat dressing with a boiled egg and beets in it. Rr I'll have an Amy's Kitchen meal (love her stuff). Suppers vary, but breakfast and lunch usually stay the same. I take in probably 1500 calories a day and around 50 grams of fat. I journal EVERYTHING I eat at sparkpeople and that really helps me to stay on track. The weekends I don't journal anything, but I'm guessing I take in over 3,000 calories and I don't even want to think about the fat grams lol. Like I said, the weekends are full of bad eating ,but it feels so good to just let go after a week of eating so strict. I do usually gain around 3 lbs when I weigh in on Monday, but by Wednesday I loose it so I guess I'm not hurting myself too much lol. When me being 40+ now I know the weekend eating is going to catch up with me. I pray it doesn't but I'm sure it will. ~

Guest guest
Hi!I admire you, for being able to get back on the clean-eating wagon so readily on Mondays - I think I would just spiral! On the weekends my eating is not as clean as during the week - I'll have wine and cheese and ice cream/desserts - but during the week, I don't. I don't know if being over 40 affects anything - I'm going to be 44 in Nov (YIKES!) and I don't really notice weight control being more of a struggle, I think it helps that we are active and that we do generally watch what we eat most of the time, though! I think it is an 80/20 rule that is recommended! 80% "good"/20% "bad" I do eat more if I workout intensely. Oddly, the long walks on Friday don't spike my appetite that much - but strength training/intervals doestake care - Donna Subject: Re: / re: NoelTo: exercisevideos Date: Wednesday, September 21, 2011, 7:45 PM You look GREAT . Guest guest
you have the discipline of a bodybuilder I fight cravings and often lose. It doesn't help that I'm a social person and get invited to lots of fun stuff, which is... fun, yes, but also a bit decadent sometimes and what's a hedonist to do... I do feel like I'm eating all the time - I snack a lot - mostly fruit, raw veggies, etc. but I do always feel like I"m eating something...a banana right now as I type! :)DonnaSubject: Re: / re: NoelTo: exercisevideos Date: Wednesday, September 21, 2011, 7:45 PM You look GREAT . ~
Guest guest
I wouldn't want to be as BIG as some of these women. They look more like men and aren't feminine looking at all. Some of the women towards the bottom of Noel's site still look like women but they have definition in their muscles, I would rather look like them. JMO, everyone is different, JenSubject: Re: / re: NoelTo: exercisevideos Date: Wednesday, September 21, 2011, 6:51 PM Noel IS awesome! Check out Marcus, the man he took the Olympia last weekend and some of his other clients! OMG these people look AMAZING! You are one lucky girl to be working with this guy. Would you want to look like any of those gals? They look crazy awesome. ~
