Guest guest
One incident I had when I was going to California to see my sister who has Cancer. Mind you, the last thing I needed or wanted was harassment at the airline. I do understand the security of the customers, and I do what I need to do to abide, but I was called to the side and they tried to make me go thru some unnecessary off the wall nonsense. One they kept putting wand on back of me that kept triggering something off. The lady went to pull my blouse up, and I took her hand and I told her if she touched me one more time, I would sue her. She was by no means pulling my blouse up in front of a crowd, or in front of herself. That was out of the question. She stopped and let me go. Then I go to where they x-ray everything, and they go thru my complete take on suitcase, and have everything out and tell me it is OK, put it back. I told them, I don't think so. You took it out, now you put it back the same way it was packed. My stuff was all thrown all over the counter. I then went to the lady waiting for me to board plane and I told her she had to hold the plane for me, as this is none of my doing. The woman going thru my luggage was giving me some talk that I did not appreciate. I told her I am an abiding citizen, have done nothing wrong and for her to change her attitude towards me or to call Security Management over, as I would not tolerate this. One man came over and said to this woman, enough is enough, do as she asks and stop holding up the plane. They DID put my packing back the way they were, and the woman was furious, but this did not bother me. I have not used quotes here, but one knows what I said and what they said. My husband flew with me to California when my sister had Cancer surgery. Good gosh, what they tried to put this man through. He is short on patience at times like this, and I whispered, stay calm and I will be right back. I went and got head of security and I told them I wanted the treatment of my husband stopped immediately, and it was. I was fearful that my husband would be arrested, as he was resisting it all. I see more than most, I guess as I fly an abundance between illness in family and business. When I don't need to travel, it will be a blessing and I am working on that for this coming year. I have written letters to the airlines but some of it is due to the security problems at hand, and that I do understand, but not the abuse of an individual. That I will not tolerate. Guest guest
good for you, I agree their selection process sucks. Years ago I was getting on a plane in Vegas and it was a very bad day for me, I couldn't move and could barely speak. My entire face looked green and was in a wheelchair. They selected me and pulled my suitcase apart (luckily they put everyhing back but then they had me take my shoes off and they had to help me put them back on as I couldn't do it. I can't imagine how they thought I could hold up a plane no less hold up a finger. > > One incident I had when I was going to California to see my sister who has > Cancer.
