There’s a new plan out there, and it’s supposed to cover a wide range of services and people. Check out www.medicare.gov and let us know what you think (Pros, Cons, and otherwise). I’ll be checking it out, but I don’t know enough about the different conditions that may or may not be affected by it. So check it out and tell us what you think. Guest guest
I consider myself lucky that my costs are not higher. I looked up my most expensive drugs in the medicare/AARP formulary and they are all covered, altho one is going to cost me 55 dollars, but it now costs my over 100 monthly. A laugh a day keeps the blues away. Sharon Re: Medicare Drug Co Man, I hope not,, I could NOT afford to pay 3K a year for my meds, I would have to stop taking them and that would not be good,, Its my understand that they cannot force you to take one, and being on medicare is optional even with the part A/B.. Yes I am elegible but I dont have to take it and if necessary I would have to drop all Medicare coverage to maintain my Champ Va.. they cannot force one onto their programs or so that is my understanding,, I sure hope what I have heard is correct.. sheesh,, that would be worse than having NO insurance, at least for me..Jane wrote: Hi Jax, There's one little problem. It's my understanding that if a person with Medicare doesn't pick one, the gubment will put you in one of their choice. Pretty scary, eh? Take care, Jane
