Guest guest
Hugs! Thank you, ! It took me a couple of years to work up to 10 miles and I must confess I'm pretty dang proud to be able to do it. I have one half marathon under my belt and 2 more paid for ones coming up (13.2 miles). I really, really love running. I"m not sure I'll ever make it to the bb stage as much as I want to, I love running more.. So how does running compare to doing a DVD at home? I know it's a lot harder and you get better scenery I guess my question is, do you feel more fit? I know that I told my doctor the last time I went that I was hungry all the time and he told me that he knows from personal experience that working out makes you hungry. Does running make you hungry or less? Just some curious questions for you. I hope you don't mind. ~
Guest guest
Race days are emotional for me, I usually cry when I cross the finish line. My first half marathon was in June and I got a medal for it, all finishers did, and I treasure it. I've never gotten a trophy of any kind before other than the letter on my coat for being on varsity swimming in high school. You ARE a winner for being able to go that far as often as you do. 100 calories in 10 minutes is AWESOME!! I wonder how many steps you get in (hehehehe) ~

Guest guest
You guys are cracking me up with your steps obsession! While I don't want my current iPod Nano to break, the new one is small like the shuffle, clips on, and also acts as a pedometer and fm radio.. Guest guest
Oh I don't have all the specifics of it, I just know my friend at work uses her new iPod Nano also as a pedometer in addition to the usual mp3 player and fm radio functions.. > You guys are cracking me up with your steps obsession! While I > don't want my current iPod Nano to break, the new one is small > like the shuffle, clips on, and also acts as a pedometer and fm > radio.. get it! lol! you can use both... one with running stuff on it, and the other with listening music, or whatever. i dont use ipod products, but i use old mp3 players as portable storage devices for other things like photos, etc... oh, and i have one that i keep in the bedroom to listen to at night too. im not sure how good the pedometer will be on it... i would have to read some reviews to see. and would it measure steps properly if you were running and not walking? :*carolyn. ------------------------------------
