Guest guest
Yes , those ghastly looking dark eye circles started appearing when I had my thyroid crash and I swelled up so bad. I didn;t even realize they were there till last year when I went to get a driver's license photo! I took one look at it, and said, "Who's the ghoul on that card?" But photos don't lie and I don;t have those dark circles any more. It was at about 4.5 grains Armour & 37.5 mcg Cytomel. I will try to get my friends I am going out with next month for my birthday to take my picture. Though I still weigh 200 pounds, I LOOK thinner AND younger! *Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WVFat cat? Guest guest
I can see the metamorphosis, but I would love to see the very last one up closer, as I think that the improvements in facial features are always going to show at this point, and I think they are, the picture is just further away. I can tell that the dark shadows under the eyes are no longer there and just all kinds of subtle differences there. I know that those deep shadows under the eyes were part of the first thing to somewhat go, though I do have deepset eyes anyway. I look back at picutes just 2 yrs old, and, frankly, though I've certainly done a natural aging thing, I think I look better now, facially speaking, than I did during about a two yr period at that time. I looked like a vampire, and I can see those differences in Valery right at the end of the photos! It is so exciting! Cool! 's Photos Everybody have a look in "Photos." There is a folder labelled "Valery." It contains pictures of her at vaious stages of thyroid disease. . . . .also her cat.

Guest guest
, those lovely dark circles. I've always had them under my eyes. I never met my Grandmother on my Mom's side of the family, as she died a few months before I was born, but I found a negative that I had printed, in black and white, and boy, guess what? My grandmother had serious dark black circles under her eyes. She was a very beautiful woman, but these definately took away from her apprearance. And oh my, those thick ankles that plague everyone of the females in our family. She was healthy looking, actually. A lot like I'm built now. I recently was inquiring about my youngest aunt, who used to be built, more like us, and how thin she was after getting married. My Aunt told me that her sister was told years ago, by her hubby, he would NOT be married to a fat woman? ARggghhh! I understood that she's literally starved herself on many occasions so that she wouldn't gain weight, because of his comments. She has finally left him and is divorcing him! yes!!!!! This was their mother who had the dark circles, thick ankles (just like mine) and it's in everyone of the girls! I remember not liking something about this guy, although he was always nice, when I was young. I just didn't like him. Funny that now I know why I didn't like him, or the fact that he 'shopped for her' and brought her clothes home to her, along with shoes". She never went shopping, he did it all for her? (this just can't be good, so I'm real happy that she's breaking that cycle that went on much too long. ughh. I was right, even at a young age, he's a creep. Funny thing though, I understand their only daughter is quite a 'big girl'. I'd love to talk to this kid to fill her in on some things! NO doubt in my mind how i ended up with this once I finally figured out something was wrong. Guest guest
Yes, get them to take more of a closeup. I could even tell that the circles weren't there and just something different about you by the smaller last picture. That's the main difference I see in myself and my looks, other than my hair also. Guest guest
What I also noticed is that your skin, especially your facial skin, looked " different " when you didn't feel well-- more sallow and drawn. The reason I noticed is that I had that happen to me overnight, eight months before I was diagnosed. I don't know how to explain this any better, but I had just turned 29 and seemingly overnight, I lost all the fat in my face-- I have noticeable lines around my mouth now. My skin didn't look healthy-- I thought it was just the smoking, but after starting thyroid replacement, my skin started to look slightly more " normal. " I wonder how it will look when my meds are optimized. Best-- Courtenay. Yes, get them to take more of a closeup.
