im kind of bummed because i havent had the opportunity to workout

out for the last few days.... because ive been working in the

deli. at least i still get my steps in on the days i work there.

so even though i didnt do a formal workout on friday i still

logged 8000 steps. no workout yesterday (saturday) but still

logged 8200 steps. today will probably be about the same. i

will need to workout AND walk tomorrow morning (monday) because

im off from the deli and dont have physio until 330pm.

also, i have to tell you that my dh bought a spa/hot tub. i was

sore all over from work last night, so i jumped into the spa for

only 15 minutes and, wow, i felt so much better in such a short

time. i was very surprised. so after work tonight im going to

get in for longer, maybe 30 mins. it did a good job on the

soreness in my neck and back, but tonight i need to also get

those jets aimed at my feet, legs and glute muscles.

:*carolyn.

So what kind of pedometer do you use to count your steps, Carolyn? I bought a fitbit (heard of those?) I just love it. I wear it almost 24 hours a day. I try to get 10,000 a day, but it doesn't always happen. That's my goal everyday, but there are times when I get like 14,000 and I love that lol.

Cool about the spa. It sounds like you needed it after all that work. :)

Hi Carolyn - I would say your work is a workout! :) The hot tub/spa sounds awesome! I love using them when we travel - I try not to think about hte other people that have been in them otherwise I may creep myself out about germs...but... :)

Hi Carolyn,

Sounds like you're getting a lot of movement at the deli, at least! And your

plan for Monday sounds great!

Enjoy the hit tub! We have a hand-me-down hot tub that we mostly avoid in the

summer thanks to the bugs and heat - but we lovelovelove using it in the winter

- esp when the snow is falling. :-D

Hugs to Chinook! (who I thought of when I saw a malamute getting into his car

after dog class today)
