Guest guest
Hi, This is mom to Tyler 6 yrs old now. Tyler was born 8 lbs 1 oz with an APGAR of 9. Inever knew he had any problem until his 7 -9 month check up. His head circumference was small but untill then he was a big boy progressing right along. We noticed around 8 month he was holding his left arm tighter & close he wouldn't do much with it. Tyler rolled everywhere he wanted to go ( I have a family circus comic strip showing their baby rolling everywhere - I put it in Tyler's scrapbook, it's so cute ) until 14 months when he learned to commando crawl. Tyler learned to walk at 28 months. He absolutely refused to use any type of walker - I tried all kinds. He wanted to hold hands and walk untill he could do it on his own. The PT wanted to put him in a wheelchair " to help make things easier on me " but I refused because I think if he has the will to walk I will strongly encourage it. It is tough on my back and shoulders sometimes putting him in & out of the car but Tyler has really been doing good with walking, he trips a lot because he'll sometimes drag the left leg but he normally just goes right along. When I go to the mall or outdoor all day events I use a jogging stroller because he out grew ( 48lbs) the umbrella stroller. The jogging stroller I found has a cover over the front wheel where he can rest his legs/feet the older models don't have that. I'm not ready financially to pay $600.00 for a convaid streeler that I know Tyler will need eventually. The jogging stroller works well enough for now and it was only 99.00. Hope my info helped. & Tyler in Manassas, VA ********************************************************************** This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
