I have to tell you guys, I was just saying this weekend that in order to get our house back in shape again with food and staples we would need a good 200.00 to do it all. Never expecting that they would give us this much money at all!!! God works in mysterious ways people! Wow! I am in Awwwwww! Its all so heart warming especially around the holidays, which I just remembered was coming. I also got in the mail today, from a community service in our area a free Thanksgiving Dinner which we can pick up. Turkey and all the trimmings for the 's this year!!!! What a wonderful day huh??? Just wonderful..With all of this help, by Christmas we should be back on our feet again, what a blessing. Many hugs.. Nola -- Re: Update!! Been to San Diego area a couple times, once while visiting Mexico when I was younger. Nice area! I really want to get out of MN. Tried twice now LOL Someday I will do it. I want to go to Texas though, I have made some friends down there also in the past couple of years so that would be nice. Really enjoyed it and the cost of living is so reasonable compared to S. CA! And the weather, although can be quite hot in the summer, is still a lot milder than what you are used to! I know, my mom complains about the cold in MN a lot! I do miss the seasons though. I love fall. We get seasons out here but they are so less noticable than you guys. We did go from 100 degrees last week to 60's this week! San Diego itself is much more mild. We are only 15 miles inland and are much colder and hotter than SD! Where in Texas would you like to go?
