Guest guest
Okay now I really want this one! Thanks for the review, !! Sounds like you're enjoying it? Today I did workout 2 from the RKS system. They describe today's workout as a recovery, conditioning workout. It was much easier than yesterdays all swing workout which i can still feel in the backs of my legs. Todays workout consisted on warmup, the warmup is the same for all the workouts and then workout 2 is: 20 minute circuit workout consisting of 5 exercises...DeadliftRowGoblet LungeSlingshotPlankYou do each exercise for 30 sec and take 30 seconds rest..when the circuit is over you take a 1 minute break and then back for your next circuit. There are 3 circuits altogether. Then I did the cool down which is also the same for all the workouts. It was actually kind of an easy day today. I used a 30 lb bell for the deadlifts and an 18 for everything else. After the RKS I did Shiva Rea, Creative core + Lower body. This was harder than i thought it would be. On the parts where she turned herself into a pretzel that I can't do, I just stood there watching. It was a pretty good workout though. This one was 24 minutes long. I am off to work now. Have a great day all.

Guest guest
Hi all, I am in a big rush as usual on Mondays. I forgot to fill up with gas so I still have to go do that this morning. Today I did Jillian's Yoga Meltdown workouts 1 and 2 again. These are okay, but I prefer my yoga more relaxing and less work. Have a great day all. Guest guest
I love dance workouts! They are good spiritually and you do burn some calories. Am thinking of trying Zumba tonite at Cascade.. Okay, well I wouldn't exactly call it a workout, but it was kinda dorky fun. My knees were acting up today (I think from all those squats and lunges yesterday) and I didn't want to do anything hard. I had got Misty Tripoli's Body Grooves a few weeks ago and decided to try it out today. I did workout 1. She gives you a basic move and then you take it and make it into your own kinda dance. I felt kinda dumb, and the dogs were staring at me, but it was kinda fun. At the end of this one, she had you do supermans on your stomach and on your back kinda like things. I didn't really get very worked out, but I did have fun and she also has you do a breathing relaxing sort of thing at the end. I did like it, and I am curious to see what the other 4 workouts are, but I think I will make them into nighttime bonus workouts instead of my main workout. Have a great Monday all. We used to get today off for Columbus day, but when Arnold was the governator he took it away from us.
Guest guest
You would have loved my workout on Saturday then... HULA dancing! Seriously. We had DD's 10th birthday party at her dance studio and among the various themes she could choose from, one was hula dancing and she decided on that. So, all the girls wwere provided with grass skirts & leis and the dance teacher taught them a hula dance which they performed for the parents when they came to pick them up. I was playing along and the teacher invited me to put on a skirt and lei so I did and in between taking pictures, I danced along with them and joined them for dance games too (we had cake and opened presents in between learning the dance, practicing it and playing games). At the end, I told the teacher, "Now you see why I don't sign up for the adult dance classes!" She just laughed and told me I should anyway... no way, no how. I had a blast trying on Saturday but it was not pretty (and it was far from a spiritual experience too, though I can see how it could be if I wasn't trying so hard to follow the teacher and just move with the music... and no one was watching me). My daughter said to me that night, "You did okay, Mom. Except that three-step, you messed that up pretty badly." If that's all she thinks I messed up, she obviously wasn't watching my arms go the wrong way from everyone else's and my hips barely wiggling because they're so tight. The trick is to bend your knees she reminded me but I tried that and it didn't seem to help a lot. Oh well, it was fun to try anyway (and now I know I don't need any hula workout videos)! Guest guest
Ugh, I hate burpees, let alone doing them in a warm up. Good work, .**----- Reply message -----To: " " Subject: 's Monday workoutDate: Mon, Oct 24, 2011 9:44 am Hi all, I don't have a lot of time to post today, I have to take hubby to get some bloodwork done and then go to work and try not to be late. This morning I did Tracey Staehle Bootcamp, her newest one, workout number 1. I had put this one in yesterday to do but then yanked it out and wimped out to Biggest Loser Power walk, the third mile only. Today I did this one though. The freaking warmup starts with burpees, not my favorite thing. I did it, but it won't ever be my fave. It has one circuit that you do 4 times through, I thought I was done after that, but no, then is the finisher, surely you are finished after the finisher right, not, after that was a tabata round, which was 8 rounds of squat jumps (which I cheated on and just did fast squats). I just wish it would have had a timer so I would have known exactly how much was left in the workout. It was okay, I will do the other two workouts on this DVD soon.
