Hoping to go before school starts but might have to wait till a long weekend.

It will be fun, I lived in the New Orleans area when I was stationed at Naval

Station there.

So I kinda know the area.

Oh girl,

I am a sight on earth, I love to travel. Treatment or no treatment, have bags

will travel.

LOL

Last treatment lets see, I went to California, 3 times to the Santa Cruz area,

San Francisco bay area. Montgomery,Alabama, New Orleans, Gulfport Ms. Tylertown

Ms. To the local area lakes almost every other weekend. Now granted I was not

the life of the party. Often I was the quiet one sitting in the corner with a

camera. But I would rent one of those motorized scooters and I would go anywhere

I pleased. LOL

Who need enegry when you got wheels.

This treatment, so far have been to Montgomery,Alabama for Granddaughters

birthday, Moved from Altus,Oklahoma back to my home here in the Tulsa area. Went

to Sea World in San . And that is about it. Not much traveling this time.

But that is because Hubbie is working lots of hours. Dang him, He thinks money

is so important. Heck I can live on beans and rice. NOT!!!!! Just kidding.

But the travelin bug is up biting me to get going. I love to travel.

Lived in Salinas awhile

and Monterey too

Have flown on airplane once.

Havent traveled much. Not even by car

Was too busy being an addict (Well I guess I did take many trips )

but not by transportation. LOL

Am looking forward to a trip now though

I deserve it. The beach is calling my name and salt water taffy too

I love it

I have only seen a store and drs offices in this period of 6 months

Drooling, salt water taffy. And you can't get it anywhere like you

can on the boardwalks in Santa Cruz.

Oh but don't try the garlic fries. Those are disgusting. I know

Gilroy is the garlic captial of the world, but french fries and

garlic don't mix. Ughhhers.

The merry go round there still has the brass ring. What fun!

For this inland girl was lots of fun out there. My husband is from

the Monterey area. So he is really blase about the whole business.

Me, I am a Texas girl grew up with the gulf at my backdoor. So we

are both water babies, only around where he grew up water is cold.

Gulf of Mexico water is nice, and warm.

Yuppers still on treatment. A little more than half way through. I

am on the 48 week ride. But on the downhill slide of the ride.

I am doing okay on the treatment. Have my good days. Love my good

days!! And I got my yuck days. I hide during my yuck days. But

fortunately they are not that many. And they don't last that long.

I have found that when I am feeling yucky, if I get up and get

involved doing something, it helps. Even if it is just folding

clothes, helping the kiddos make cookies. Working on the computers,

(I do all the computer maintaince in this house). Found that if I

busy my mind with other things then I forget to be sick. LOL

I know I am a nut.

I have all these little things that I do to make myself feel better.

Like go out on the deck, and watch the hummingbirds feed. Relaxing!!

And sitting on the bench my husband put up for me by my garden pond,

watching the goldfish swim around. Yeah that is cool, especially

with a large glass of green tea to drink.

Wiggling my bare feet in the green grass by the pond. Yeah, thats

the ticket.
