Guest guest
There are all kinds of dyes in those colored Levoxyl's. I've looked it up before. Aluminum Lake colors, I think they are called. If there's any question whatsoever that the dyes might be bothering you, absolutely try 1 1/2 of the 50 mcg size and see if you feel better. That's what I took when I was on Unithroid, to avoid the dyes, 1 and 1/2 of the 50 mcg. Best of luck. Am I remembering this incorrectly, or was there a discussion aboutfolks being allergic to or having problems with different colors of the Levoxylpills? I hadn't had any trouble before on the 1/2 white pill (50mcg) and 1/2 greenpill (88mcg). Maybe my stomach was just upset from something I ate lastnight. Is the purple pill a particularly bothersome one? Maybe I could just usethe 50mcg and use 1-1/2 of those, if the purple pill keeps this up.Thanks...........Sara(How do you guys post without the weird text breaks that I get? Is itbecause I'm on a Mac?)

Guest guest
When they changed the formula on Levoxyl, it became a more highly disintegrating pill, so I don't know whether they'd be able to be quartered gracefully, anyway. Re: Levoxyl fillers and dyes reactions Yellow and purple are the two colors that I hear are giving folks a problem. The white 50 mcg pills are highly useful. I am on 75 mcg along with my Armour, so I take one and a half pills. The Unithroid pills are round, so they are pretty easy to quarter, too, if needed. I am not sure if Levoxyl can be quartered. Guest guest
I love that phrase, . " Quartered gracefully. " Nice. Courtenay.
