Guest guest
Sue#2, got it! Hope you rested and didn't rush off to prepare a big meal for the kids for dinner! I just got the call from my dad -- he DOES have prostate cancer! They will run 2 tests next week to determine if it has spread past the prostate or not. Just a waiting game till then. Oh boy! He sounded ok I guess -- despite the news. No other good news but at least I feel O.K. Trying to clean up the house this evening. PT and Psych class tomorrow. That will keep me busy! Praying for you -- know you are for me. Anyone else who can, I would appreciate your prayers too. (Well, more for my dad than for myself -- his name is Bob) TIA (thanks in advance). Love to ya. --Sue

Guest guest
Sue, My Dad had prostate cancer, so let me know if you have any questions. He had it for nine years, and they were nine good years with no symptoms. I will keep you in my prayers. Guest guest
Sue, Yes, I am getting your emails. I think you and I are on the same boat. I have never done well since getting this illness, but seem to be worse lately. If there is anything this illness has taught me, it is that I can miss work, and life will go on. If there is no one to do it, either it won't get done, or someone else will be found. Take care of you. You are more important than money, or things, or a business. People are the only things in life that really matter. Be safe, be well. I will be thinking of you, and sending good thoughts your way. As a friend of mine tells me, " I will be keeping you under the light " (in his prayers). So, I know I am there because of him, I'll put you there with me, and we can draw strength from each other. okay? Caroline " A. Matera " wrote: hey guys, is everyone getting mail from the group? I haven't received nothing since early yesterday morning and I was just curious if this is happening to anyone else? I just came to glance very quickly. I am not doing good, fevers, sore, EXTREME fatigue, sore throat and my right side hurts. I feel very strange, like I am to " flare " , so I listened to my body and came home, but I am not well..and not sure to what is going on. This hasn't happened to me in a very long time...almost a year in May, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it is just mild symptoms. I cannot miss work, there is no one around. I hate these times!!!! sorry...venting some...I am stressed about this and very nervous. I stopped to see my Rheumy on the way home, we upped the prednisone again and I did lots of blood work. The fatigue was so bad, I almost didn't make it home. It hit me all of the sudden. I thought I was going to actually pass out! I must rest now, and hopefully you will get this. I don't know why I am receiving nothing. Love, Sue #2 Love, Sue #

Guest guest
Sue, I hope your father gets better soon, I read just yesterday that the medical field hopes that most cancers are curable within the next 3 years. I do hope so. Our prayers are definitely with you and your family for him a speedy recovery!! You take care of yourself too, K?
