Hi everybody - I wasn't going to post this but I feel like I'm supposed to.

I believe that everybody is intuitive to a degree. I mentioned guardian

angels here before but I didn't mentioned that I am empathic and able to hear

people on the other side. I believe everyone can, but anyway, a woman I work

with

asked me to talk to an aunt of hers that had died tragically - she was

desparate for anything from this woman. I helped her and it seemed to open some

kind

of floodgate. A few people that this family had lost seemed to come to me

and want me to tell this family things. I was doing this for a few hours. It

was completely draining and I haven't been the same since. I now seem to pick

up the slightest emotion from anyone, kind of like Deanna Troi from the Star

Trek show. One of my friends said I had to cleanse my aura and I know NOTHING

about that. I keep repeating that I release and I am safe. I wrote to the

woman that's kind of my life coach, and if it weren't a day of rest I would call

her, but I'll call her tomorrow.

If noticed lately that people ignore my posts and maybe that's just yahoo,

but I took a big risk posting this so if anyone can say anything, it would

really mean a lot.

Thanks,

a

Nola,

THANK YOU so much for taking the time to read this and reply to me - I really

appreciate it. I know this is a unique and not talked about subject but I

had to post about it. After I posted, I went back to bed for an hour and I felt

a lot lighter when I woke up. I also realized that in addition to the

spongelike effect that I had after that night, I also feel more intuitive in

other

ways, so obviously that was supposed to happen to me.

If you have questions you can email me off list and I'll try to help you. I

can't do it this week though because I want to make sure I don't open myself

up too much again, but I would really be happy to help you - I just have to

find a little more perspective first.

As for how I do it, I just believe that we all have different levels of

intuitiveness and whatever we are open to is what we'll experience. I can

definitely talk to you more about it :) I am not frightened now because I " hear "

them

in a way that is not scary, but there are some things that do frighten me and

I am not open to, like channeling. Eek!!

Love,

Theresa,

Thank you thank you thank you for your sweet words! I just about cried when

I read it. To think that someone that has never met me seems to care so much

about what I say, it's just so powerful to know that, do you know what I mean?

I definitely hope you post more because even though I'm kind of a newbie

myself, I think this is a very comfortable non-judgmental place. I look forward

to seeing more of your posts :)

I think you have a very enlightened attitude regarding developing your

intuition. You're right, it will all happen in the right time in the right way.

My

first experience was when I was 16, and I definitely wasn't ready then - that

was almost about the time that I stopped writing for a time too. I didn't

pay attention to my intuition for a couple of years, and I didn't write because

I was told that I wasn't a good writer. I've since been told that by another

teacher, and I told him to stuff it :)

The way I found my life coach: I was desperate. I realized I was 30 years

old and I was still holding on to stuff that happened when I was a kid,

seemingly inconsequential stuff, but I realized once that in a solid hour I had

about

five or six blasts from the past, in terms of bad memories. I thought, OK, I

am blocked. I have to release these blocks and move on, instead of repeating

the same patterns over and over again. I had read a few Louise Hay books but

could not seem to fully embrace and work with all the ideas. I was stuck

stuck stuck in the old patterns.

I had heard that there are certified Louise Hay teachers. I tried to find

one a few years ago. A therapist had an ad that said she practiced " enlightened

therapy. " I thought that meant she studied Louise. At first I had a good

feeling about her. After a year of seeing her, I hadn't made any progress and

asked for a sign that I should give up or find somebody else. I got my sign

when she said she thought I was bi-polar. I did have emotional mood swings but

they coincided with my period, and I thought they were related to that. She

blew some of the things I had told her out of context and was pretty much ready

to put me on lithium. That would have been fine if I had ACTUALLY been

bi-polar, but I knew then she was not the woman to help me.

I did some research and thought what was " wrong " with me was PMDD,

Pre-Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder. My general practiticioner confirmed it and we

began

treatment. I was getting immense physical symptoms in addition to the

emotional sensitivity but since I started treatment, it's just like having

general PMS

again - which is heavenly compared to PMDD, LOL!

Anyway, back to a month or so ago, I decided that I wanted to try again to

find an ACTUAL Louise Hay Certified teacher rather than somebody who I thought

would think like her. I did a google search for " Louise Hay Certified Teacher "

and " Pennsylvania " and " New Jersey " since I live in Philly and am close to

some parts of NJ. There were a couple of listings, and even though they were

incomplete I was able to write a few of them. I got a few replies, and I got a

really good feeling about the one that I ended up going to. With her

guidance, I feel like I've made a lot of progress, and I am actually enjoying

the

journey. I didn't realize she was a " life coach " until I saw it on her business

card :)

Thanks for listening!

Thank you for posting that, Charlene! I really do have a lot of thoughts

while reading the emails from this group - I will try to post more in the future

- you're right - you never know who you will touch!

In fact, through this group I met one that I consider a dear friend now. She

has helped through the absolute toughest time of my life!! (Thank you Nola!)

I am sure that no one is ignoring your posts. Yahoo always is sending

mine out late. They sometimes don't even show up until the next day for

me LOL I always wondered what that would be like to hear the other

side. I know this is probably a very touchy subject with many people so

I wont go on and on about it, however, all my family members are passed

and even my first husband, our child and most of my friends throughout

the years. So I have many questions bouncing around in my head about

this. I can see how that would be completely draining girl. How do you

do it? I would be frightened to even attempt that as everyone in the

world would probably talk to me LOL My family are talkers, to say the

least LOL
