Dear Mark,

My name is Penne. I am sorry I was not able to send you a card in time

because I just saw your story today.

I am 11 years old and also going into 6th grade. I live in Chico, C.A.( Look

at the bottom to see what I have.) I am very sorry about what you are going

through. I have had rough times like you. So I kinda know how you are

feeling. You must be very brave and courageous to be able to handle your

illness so well.

What do you do when you hurt? How do you handle the pain?

I know having to get shots so frequently can really make you mad. I go into

get I. Vs every three weeks. I drive 5 hours to get 5 hour I.V.s. I know how

frustrating it can be. You must be very strong mentally and physically. You

go three times more then me and can get very discouraged. If you've made it

this far you have to be a very brave boy.
