Guest guest
Not many posts here! I think I may do the C25K w1d4 on the treadmill today. The weather here is really stinky --90 deg with 90% humidity! I will do it! I got my own playlist under the narration set up on my MP3 player, and off I go! (Not only did I learn to run, but I learned to combine audio tracks with freeware software.) I've been feeling so great about what I've been able to do so far. My mother really angers me at times. I was helping her in and out of the bath tub last night, and told her that she could really help herself a lot if she would exercise a bit. Her response was something to, " Yeah, I know, but I just don't want to do that. I never have exercised and I don't plan on starting now. " Grrrr -- That one of the main reasons I AM exercising! (I found out a whole lot more since I started, too!!) Indyrose, who still loves her mother despite her faults...
Guest guest
That is great, Indy! And, I hear you on your mom - there are so many ways we can help ourselves - yes, sometimes genetics or the luck of the draw messes up our plans for good health, but no one ever became disabled or frail from eating right and exercising! My mom can make me nuts b/c she doesn't take good care of herself. She is going to be 70 and is in worse shape (in some ways) than my DH's 92 year old aunt. My mother in law is in bad shape - she is 80 and has congestive heart failure and limited mobility - some of it probably is luck of the draw, but she also didn't exercise in her younger days which I think would have at least helped the mobility if not the heart. What can you do? Donna To: exercisevideos Sent: Sun, July 3, 2011 4:06:27 PMSubject: Quiet weekend?? Not many posts here!I think I may do the C25K w1d4 on the treadmill today.
