Joan, is a car freak too. He was not the least bit interested until now. AND for so long I helped him. It was just easier and faster.Being in a cast or even his brace all day, it was just hard for him.If I were you I would buy a doll(or they make a big puzzle that has different pieces of clothing)and just have it there. He will eventually take a look at it and get interested in how things work. He is a boy.....their minds just work that way. Make getting him dressed a game. Encourage him to try.

One of the "perks" to having twins. If one does it, the other has to as well... good for them both.

Poor Hayden has a hard time with undressing and dressing b/c of his cast. Our Ped told me to buy a doll that he can dress and undress. He is just NOT interested at all. If it doesn't have wheels, then he doesn't want to play with it..lol

I saw this earlier this morning and didn't really have anything I could share at the time. Well now I do!!!!!!I am SO HAPPY to tell you that just dressed himself!!! This is SO BIG for him! has some issues with his fine motor skills so he always gets very upset when he can't do little things. I have been pushing him and not helping him(only to force him to practice).So just now he ask me to get him dressed. I said I'll be in there in a minute. I went to his room and he had taken off his pjs, which BTW is a button shirt and had his jeans buttoned and zipped!!!! And was well on his way to getting his shirt on!I am so proud of him!!! If you have a child that struggles with fine motor skills you know how HUGE this it!!!Thanks for letting me share

I love everyone's Challenge time posts!!! They always make me smile.Bex still cracks us up all of the time. He has a toddler easel and asks for paper and draws all day. One day recently he finished a drawing, pointed at it and said "Mommy, Daddy" and walked away. It's a pretty good pen drawing of us, which is now on the fridge. I love everyone's Challenge time posts!!! They always make me smile.Bex still cracks us up all of the time. He has a toddler easel and asks for paper and draws all day. One day recently he finished a drawing, pointed at it and said "Mommy, Daddy" and walked away. It's a pretty good pen drawing of us, which is now on the fridge. Mommy has a big chest and Daddy is hairy. Hee-hee!He has a great sense of humor, check out the "cat fends off bear" video online, he is rolling with laughter every time he sees it! So funny.The language skills just floor us, he says to me "wiggle our hips" and we dance around. He was putting toys on a wooden duck that rocks slightly, and Nick was saying "The frog is on the duck", etc...so Bex climbed on it himself and announced "I'm on the duck ! Tasha,Thanks! What did you do with all of your boys drawings? We may have to get a second storage shed! If it can be drawn on, Bex will surely draw on that cast bear's white "cast". Last week Thaddeus had phsyio and they left a few of their toys behild. He

started to play with the toy you put the shapes in he would just through the

shapes around and have a blast. a few days ago and sat down next to him playing

and he figured out how to put the shapes in!!! I COULDNT BELIEVE IT!.. i was

just amazed that he could do it. he is the most amazing little guy!

for him! has some issues with his fine motor skills so he always gets very

> So just now he ask me to get him dressed. I said I'll be in there in a

minute. I went to his room and he had taken off his pjs, which BTW is a button

shirt and had his jeans buttoned and zipped!!!! And was well on his way to

getting his shirt on!

My Lil payge she always cracks a up. Everything she does it's so entertaining to sit there and watch her. Like she knows what "no" means but when we say no, stop, get down etc she will give you a kiss. And then go right back to doing what you told her not to do. Like she thinks if she gives you a kiss you forget you told her not to. I love it
