Guest guest
i finally saw a physiotherapist today to start work on my neck pain, which ive had for some years now (3? 4? im not sure, but it has been a long time). he did a few subtle things with his hands that felt good, but im not sure this is going to really help. i guess time will tell. im going again next week and he says i can also go for massages in a few weeks after that. im happy because i booked this appointment 7 months ago and finally got in... also the cost of physio is covered by our provincial insurance. however, i doubt that i will be able to afford massage therapy since that is not covered by insurance. anyway he told me to do the standard boring stretches -- ear to shoulder, turning left/right, chin to chest. ive been doing those things multiple times a day for a long time so i dont think they are going to miraculously start helping now. oh well. ive been doing a few workouts here and there... not much because ive been babying my neck. mostly ive been walking, working in the deli, doing housework and yardwork. i did do one of the powerfit workouts and i enjoyed it... i plan on continuing with that set as time permits. i have been so busy that i managed to lose a few pounds... a ton of functional physical activity and too busy to over-eat (ive been eating on the run alot lately -- the cops around here are thinking of outlawing eating while driving a car... if they do that then i will probably starve!). i will post again soon... im off work for a couple of days so hopefully i can get in a couple of video workouts. hugs, :*carolyn.
