*****Highlights*****

Temple Grandin, Ph D, one of the highest functioning individuals with autism

in the world, will instruct and inspire both parents and professionals as she

talks about her life from childhood to adulthood. She will sight practical

methods that helped her including early intervention, educational strategies,

social skill development, visual thinking and the use of medications.

Dr. Grandin got her Ph D in Animal Science from the University of Illinois

and has designed 90% of all of the livestock-handling facilities in

the world.

Dr. Amaral of the M.I.N.D. Institute will discuss his research in the

brains of children with autism.

Leonard Heller, CFP will present Financial Planning for Special Needs.

Jeanette McAfee, MD, pediatrician, author, mother of a child with AS, will

present a dynamic program on teaching Social and Emotional Skill.

Goldman, BBA, trained special education law and advocacy offers IEP

101.

Windy ez, M.S., CRC, an educational consultant specializing in Adult

Special Education presents Transition 101.
