Guest guest
I swear by Children's Place clothes. They are room, stretchy and cute They also can be very reasonable. What I didn't know is that she would look like a football player with her cast. Any suggestions for girl clothes that are cute as well as functional? Thanks, DawsonMom of Audrey, 2 years old, first cast

Guest guest
Hi , Gosh I thought the same thing!!!!! LOL I have mourned the sweet girly things that I have wanted to buy! Baby doll shirts that are more tapered at the chest or smocked (gathered) and flow outward seem to balance that broadness in the shoulders. Those work well in any season because you can usually find those in long and short sleeves and pair them with shorts or leggings. Once it gets warmer, cute little summer dresses are naturally loose and pretty and flow nicely as well.... I can e-mail you some pics of Noelle if you want.....- Noelle's mommy, 3 years oldRochester NYCasted 8 times for 1 1/2 years and in first brace!reflux, mild plagiocephaly, mild torticollos, hypotonia, ligament laxity, suspected Ehler's Danlos III Subject: What to Wear? To: infantile_scoliosis Date: Saturday, February 27, 2010, 12:01 AM Ok moms, I need some ideas. Guest guest
,I know what you mean. I have found that the baby doll style shirts(bigger and flowy style) with leggings work and look great. Also cotton dresses with tights are very cute. I stick with a lot of stretch knits for Allie's comfort but she still looks cute! Hope this helps. Congrats on the first cast!Amy J Mom to Allie(3) in second cast.Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerryDate: Sat, 27 Feb 2010 00:01:23 +0000To: <infantile_scoliosis >Subject: What to Wear? Guest guest
Hi , I don't have any suggestions but wanted you to know I have this problem as well (as we all do). I have a son though and have tried to make " humorous " comments on pictures like the Green Bay Packers called and are looking for a linebacker - type things to keep me sane! =) I looked all over the internet for clothes for children with casts and came up empty? If I could design clothes, it might be a good business opportunity to pursue. =) Good luck to you and your little girl! BTW - I like Children's place clothes too! Guest guest
Makenna's entire wardrobe cnsist of baby doll shirts/dresses and leggings. Most of the time people don't even notice she's in a cast. I recommend Children's Place or Kohls. I know you can shop Kohl's online, not sure about Place. The leggings stay up as long as they are at least 5 percent spandex/lycra. Hope this helps! Amy, mom to Makenna. 21* out of cast.
