Guest guest
It went very well, and except for that one incident with the dancing on the table... oops, sorry, I wasn't supposed to tell. We were a small, intimate gathering, but it really was nice to meet the people we chat with online. I really hope to see so many more in October, you have all this time to plan. Sorry to hear you got to feeling so bad, Sara, but glad you are starting that upward climb. I'm really close, drop me a line if I can help with anything. Cathryn > Hey! We're all still waiting to hear how the first meeting went. Was it fun? What topics did you talk about? Did Jan behave herself? :-) Or, if I'm being too snoopy let me know ... > > >
Guest guest
Thanks, Cathryn. It was great meeting you and I certainly appreciate your support. I'm still feeling very slowed down, am laying on the floor a lot, sort of watching TV, just very tired and pretty down emotionally. I called my doc's office to get an opinion about my symptoms, and the RN called me right back with my doc's response. He said it would take a week or so to feel the effects of the swtichover. I sort of feel like the chair has been pulled out from under me. I'm reading the posts by Tish (are you a researcher or physician? Such amazing information!) and thinking I really fit the adrenal exhaustion category, since now I'm really feeling bad in the morning and have generally felt better in the evening all my life. All the years of not being diagnosed, having anxiety disorder and panic attacks, generally being stressed out from trying to build a business, then not being medicated properly, must have just beaten those puppies to death. Should I consider calling the doc back and asking for adrenal help while I'm going through this tranisition to the synthetic T3/T4, or just take it really easy and wait for the thyroid meds to optimize and get me feeling better? A question to any of you who switched from a T4 med to a T3/T4 combo - did you feel worse for awhile, like weeks? or months?, and then get better, or did you just transition over to feeling better in a pretty straightforward manner? If I feel much worse than this, I'm going to be in bed all the time. This is not fun!
