Guest guest
Oh! Good to know! I have this one too and it sounds perfect for me! I'm a little slow when it comes to Step lol. Thanks for the review! Good morning! This morning I decided to get another Cathe oldie done. I did Step Heat. Another workout that I knew would be super repetitive. I was glad this one only had 2 step sections because probably hard to believe, but this workout is even more repetitive then Step Jam, at least to me. I liked the ab section. It was short and mainly focused on the upper abs, but I got a really good burn. This ab routine could definitely be done with the stability ball. I burned 426 calories. Weird that this workout is easier then any of her new ones but yet I sweat like a pig and burn so many calories. Have a great day!~~

Guest guest
I like doing them once in a while, but I have to be in the mood to do all that repeating. This morning it took me a few minutes to get into it. I actually wanted to stop after the 50th knee up. lol They are good solid workouts though, so they are keepers for me. Guest guest
yes. there's a converter cord you can buy where you plug the white and red males to the audio/visual output from the vcr to your laptop/pc via a usb port. It comes with software too. I've used it a lot; there are many precious workouts that were never made on dvd! I got mine on Ebay I think for around $30 ? I have these on vhs. Is there a way to transfer them to a dvd? Guest guest
This one sounds HARD! When I'm done with Ben and Noel I'll have to pull this one out for Leg Day! Way to go ! I always enjoy seeing what weights you use! 17,000 steps is terrific - was it intentional or just your day to day normal walking doing errands, etc.? Hope your Weepies pass! Good morning! Today was B & G. I knew I wouldn't have time to do the entire thing and I had planned on doing the " Standing Glutes & Abs Timesaver " premix, but I realized it left out a few of the standing exercises and I wanted to get all of the standing part done. I went with doing all the standing and the ankle weight abs. This was right at 55 minutes. I wore my HRM and burned 254 calories. *walking lunge w/plie jump 5*1-legged squat w/foot on high step 5*forward thrusting hammer punch lunges*squats with barbell- 30*walking lunge w/plie jump (fewer reps) 5*deadlift w/barbell & toes on dumbbell---skipped*1-legged squat w/foot on low step (4 risers) 5*side hammer thrusting lunges*front-side-back lunge combo*squats with barbell 30*firewalkers (side steps w/band around ankles)*low pulse lunges 5 ankle weight abs ( 5 lb DB and 5 lb ankle weights) Another busy day. Yesterday I got in 17,000 steps. I was amazed. Have a great day! ~~

Guest guest
thanks for info on rebounders.. with my bad knees I contemplate getting one.. but not until house repairs are done.. fingers crossed end of month I can finally put my spin bike up!judyTo: exercisevideos Sent: Thursday, September 15, 2011 10:34 PMSubject: Re: Wednesday Workout > That's so cool that you're the strong one they can turn to, > Carolyn! Great job on the steps too!! thanks nancy! the majority of the women i work with are big and have some trouble getting around. for example, they cannot get up on a step stool and write the specials on the deli's chalkboard. they make me do it because i simply jump up onto the counter and write on the board (which is attached to the wall). also the power plugs for two of our slicers are under the service case near the floor... none of them can get down to that level and plug the slicer in... they say they would have to lay on the floor to do it and then couldnt get back up! so, either they dont unplug the slicers to wash them (against the safety rules) or they leave the slicers unplugged until they can get someone to plug them in. often i show up for work and try to wait on a customer and the darned slicer is unplugged... argh! enough about my dumb job... im off for two whole days... yay! about today's workout... well there wasnt one... except for running around the deli... 7742 steps. i was going to do some rebounding but have decided that i need a new rebounder! i have a cheap one and the last time i used it alot, i got sore knees. the total opposite to what a rebounder is supposed to do for your joints. it is ok once in a while but if i do rebounding workouts for more than 2 or 3 days in a row, then i get some pain. happily we now have a canadian distributor for jumpsport trampolines these use cords instead of metal springs, producing a deeper softer bounce and no noise. i just need to see if i have $250 for one (and that is for the one at the bottom of the jumpsport line). tomorrow i WILL workout... probably a walk and PHH thighs. i also have a ton of housework to do since ive been working out of the house all week. the yard needs help too, and maybe i will take chinook to the dog park. there is always lots to do! :*carolyn. Guest guest
So cool you ran out of upper body workouts! And your weights, as usual, are fantastic, glad you enjoyed that little bonus too! Wednesday Workout Good morning! I really needed to do upper body since I haven't done anything since last week. I did get sore from the boxing, but it still wasn't like doing an upper body workout, so I was itching to do one. I've officially ran out of all my upper body workouts. They are all turned backwards. I have a few circuits left, but none that are strictly upper. I decided to do Tracey S. Parts and do "strictly upper body" I done this one just once so I more than happy to do it again. BACK AND CORE: Rows while holding plank 12 One arm rows 20 BICEPS: concentration curls 15 standing various curls includes balance challenge 12 CHEST: One arm bench press 20 flys 20 pushups with one arm rotation- toes (no wt.) TRICEPS: seated kickbacks ( I did lying using 8's) over head extensions (1) 15 kickbacks ( lying dropped to 5's) I was fried!! SHOULDERS: front raises with rotation 3 tiny raises with pulses 3 ABS After I got done with abs I decided to tack on just a little bit of low impact cardio. I was in my socks (I don't wear shoes during weight workouts) so I didn't want anything huge or with jumping. I pulled out The Firm Cardio Overdrive and did just the cardio sections. I did all but the last cardio. I ran out of time. This was fun. It actually felt really good in my socks for some reason. I didn't wear my HRM because I didn't plan this, but I'm sure it wasn't much. Have a great day!~~
