Jen's exercise for 07/19/11 TuesdayI didn't go to the pool during the day because I had to work this afternoon and I got sunburned yesterday (forgot to put on sunscreen lotion OUCH) and I didn't want to be exposed any more today.I did go to the pool tonight and did water exercise using to dumbbells - for an hour and a half.The pool was pretty crowded (usually it isn't) so I didn't have enough room to swim laps but I did exercise my arms and legs the whole time I was in.The pool I go to is in my townhouse cooperative complex so it's a private pool. I love it except for two things, they keep the water way too HOT - 90 degrees or hotter most days even during 90+ degree weather.....which is not pleasant to swim laps in. My

biggest complaint is that they close the pool at 8pm....OMG I feel like I'm living in the middle of a damn senior citizen complex! They say it's to save money, well they should turn down the boiler that heats the pool...that would save enough money to pay the guards to work another hour!They say in the pool rules that the lifeguard can stay until 9pm but what teenager (the guards are 16, 17, and 18 average ages) would want to work longer....? PLEEZE spare me.I've talked to the head-lifeguard who is in charge of the pool (she is older than me) but she won't listen to me because she thinks I'm the only one that wants it opened later. Other people complain about the hours but they won't talk to her about it....they have no guts I guess. This woman is a total control freak and I've told her this to her face, and she agrees.....UGH!Because of the heat wave we're having she is keeping it open until 8:45pm....NOT

9pm...omg they can't afford 15 extra minutes! Tonight I saw her at the pool and she mentioned about it being open until 8:45pm...and I said "Big deal, what's wrong with 9pm?" so she complained saying I'm never satisfied..and she's right! I won't be satisfied until it's open until 9pm every night like it use to be about 4 or 5 years ago.Anyway, now she is going to keep it open until 9pm for this week ONLY..during the heat wave.Frustrated put mildly satisfied, Jen
