Guest guest
Hi Everyone,Today I went back to circuits - although, I do have to eat my words about not getting sore from MR's workouts - my chest, triceps and biceps are slightly sore from yesterday's Sculpture Workout - not horrible, but enough to know I worked them and my lower body is also slightly sore from 's workout on Monday. So, for today I tried a virgin that I received in a trade - Shape Ultimate Bikini Body w/ Dominique Hall. I did the first workout which is a circuit workout (around 30-40 min, including warm-up and cool down). I loved it! Dominique is a really good instructor, she is calm and she moves at a slow and controlled pace - so this one can be done w/ heavier weights. It also included more "modern" exercises that focused on planks, rotation, balance, etc. Right up my alley. The cardio bursts are all simple and repetitive - basically just designed to get the HR up. There are 3 more workouts on this DVD for me to try - 10 min core, 10 min legs, 10 min cardio. I am thinking I will put them in on Friday. The core stuff looks good - not a lot in the way of crunches. Lower body looks to be bodyweight exercises. I wish she would put out more workouts - I think this is the only one she has done.I finished off with the Hips, Knees & Feet practice from Yoga Complete for Every Body. I can tell I have been neglecting yoga and need to get back on track with that before I end up with nagging aches and pains. Take care!Donna
Guest guest
I've been neglecting yoga too, Donna :/ ug! so many workouts, so little time, as we say! I have a handful of Shape workouts and when on Earth will I make time to try them??? Right now I'll be using segments from Cathe's videos, most of which are virgins to me so I feel a little better about that. I have yoga down for Saturday mornings on my new workout rotation. Speaking of Margaret s, how's our Geoff / Lady G doing??
